Corporate Giving

Bridgepoint Education believes in giving generously. We focus our philanthropic efforts in three main areas: Education, Youth, and the Military.

Does my organization qualify for sponsorship or for a grant from Bridgepoint Education?
Bridgepoint Education provides support to 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations in the United States. Your organization may not qualify if it:

  • Does not qualify for tax-deductible contributions under Section 501(c)(3) of the IRS code;
  • Is a political, religious, or grant-making organization; or
  • Represents a conflict of interest for Bridgepoint Education.

I have a proposal for a sponsorship opportunity, where can I send it and to whom?
Bridgepoint Education only accepts proposals online. To apply for event sponsorship, program sponsorship, or a grant, please submit one of the following applications:

When do you accept proposals?
You may apply online at any time, but the Corporate Giving Review Committee only considers proposals once each quarter. Please refer to the deadlines listed below. For instance, if your event will take place in September, you must submit your request to the Community Relations department by April 1 to receive approval:

January 1, 2013 – for events in April - June
April 1, 2013 – for events in July - September
July 1, 2013 – for events in October - December
October 1, 2013 – for events in January - March

Will someone contact me when the application is received?
Bridgepoint Education will notify you by mail of the committee's decision within three weeks of the quarterly meeting.

How much money will Bridgepoint grant to my nonprofit?
The Corporate Giving Review Committee may decide to fund some or all of your program's expenses, or they may decide not to provide funding.

How large are Bridgepoint’s grants and sponsorships?
Bridgepoint Education does not have a set range for grant or sponsorship amounts. Many factors, including the specific program or event to be funded, determine funding amounts.

Please submit your sponsorship requests online to be considered for a sponsorship. Requests submitted by other means will not be considered.
