Mike Stansbury, Vice President of Technology Operations
Mike Stansbury joined Bridgepoint Education, a provider of innovative solutions that advance learning, in 2009. In his position as Vice President of Technology Operations, he is responsible for the oversight of IT operations and security, networking, telephony and the company’s service desk.
Mr. Stansbury’s experience as an IT professional reaches back more than 20 years. Prior to his time with Bridgepoint Education, Mr. Stansbury served as Vice President of Risk Management at Fremont Investment & Loan, Vice President of IT at First American Default Technologies, and Director of IT at MetLife Investors.
Bridgepoint Education is dedicated to social responsibility and its corporate culture embodies that sentiment. Mr. Stansbury is a San Diego Chapter board member of Newborns in Need, is a member of both the San Diego and Orange County chapters of the Information Systems Security Association (ISSA) and Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA), and is a part-time university faculty instructor.
Mr. Stansbury has an MA in Organizational Leadership from Chapman University and a BA in Business Administration from the University of Central Florida. He also holds a certificate in Advanced Computer Engineering from the University of California, Irvine.
